Obama's regret for Afghan President

headlineWASHINGTON - President of the United States (U.S.), Barack Obama expressed his regret to the President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai, on the increasing number of Afghan civilian deaths associated with U.S. forces in the country.
The two leaders spoke via video conference network, amid rising tensions between Washington and Kabul, before the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.
"President (Obama) expressed regret over civilian casualties are increasing today, especially in Helmand Province. The two leaders agreed that the Taliban are fully responsible for the many civilian casualties in Afghanistan," said White House spokesman Jay Carney was quoted as saying by AFP on Thursday (06/09/2011).
