Northern Syria Attacked 120 Police Killed

More than 100 policemen were killed in the attacks of armed groups in several regions in northern Syria. The armed group also set fire to government buildings and looting ofexplosives at an armory.
Reporting from the CNN page, the attack occurred on Monday,June 6, 2011, in Al-Shugur jisr city and its surroundings, this city is the place of launching deadly attacks by the army some time ago.Sudden attacks by armed groups killed 120 policemen andwounding dozens of other civilians.
They set fire to government buildings and shooting at the securitycenter. Syrian national television to say that this group managed toloot five tons of dynamite from the armory near the dam the valleyof Al Abyad. The Syrian government said it will not remain silentface of this.
"The state will meet it with firmness and strength in accordancewith the law. We will not stay silent when it comes to armed attack,"said Interior Minister Mohammed Ibrahim al-Chaar.
Syrian Information Minister, Adnan Mahmoud, said that armed groups use assault rifles and bomb the secondary level. They alsoused civilians as shields. "Residents in the district of Idlib feelscared because of this attack," said Mahmoud.
It is not known which group carried out the attack, but armydeserter strongly suspected to be behind the deadly attacks.According to the Associated Press page, there are some soldierswho defected and turned against the government.
"The situation now is very vague, not clear who did the shooting,but the situation is now very serious and out of control," said oneactivist who declined to be named
